Your story. Your voice. Sharpened, never overwritten.

Editing shouldn’t mean losing the voice that made the story yours in the first place. Whether your manuscript needs a closer look at the bigger picture or careful attention at sentence level, I’ll help you strengthen what’s already on the page — without rewriting it into something that sounds like me.

Editorial Consultation

Sometimes you don’t need an edit. You need to talk it through with someone who understands stories.

A one-to-one session focused entirely on your manuscript, your questions and where you’d like to take the project next. We can talk through plot problems, character development, structure, feedback you’ve received, your next draft — or simply the thing that’s been driving you mad for three weeks.

The Editorial Journey

From Draft to Desk to Delivery

Tell Me About Your Manuscript

Send an enquiry with a little about your project, its word count and the kind of editorial support you’re looking for. I’ll review the details and get back to you about the best way forward.

Every manuscript starts by landing on the desk.

This is where I get to work. I’ll read closely, edit thoughtfully and make suggestions with one thing always in mind: strengthening the writing without writing over you.

Keep your voice. Strengthen your words.

Agree the Editorial Plan

Once I’ve reviewed your project, we’ll agree the scope of the edit, timescale and fee before any work begins. For larger projects, we may also have a short kick-off call to talk through your priorities and anything I should know before I begin.

No surprises. Just a clear plan for your manuscript.

04

Back to You

Your manuscript returns with the agreed edits and feedback, including an editorial letter where appropriate. You’ll have a clearer sense of what’s working, what needs attention and where to take the manuscript next.

Your story, still yours — only stronger.
